WHO makes a good entrepreneur?

Surprisingly – NOT someone who is GOOD AT THEIR JOB!

The list – after many years watching which start ups succeeded and which did not :

Avoiding distractions (focus)

Energy (LOTS)

Sales skills

Am I saying it is not important to have an amazing product or service?

No.  But I am saying that it is not in the top 3 things neccessary for keeping a business alive so it can survive the critical first 5 years from start up.  Your product or service must be adequate to solve the problem it is intended to solve for your customers.  It is good if it is at least as good as your competitors offering also.
